The 1700 Series introduces a contemporary look while keeping the practical performance expected from a BeefEater barbecue. The distinctive graphite grey panel acts as a preparation shelf during cooking and closes neatly to conceal the controls when the barbecue is not in use.

Durable porcelain enamelled cast iron cooktops provide excellent heat retention while remaining straightforward to clean after cooking. The clever flip over hotplate allows both grill and plate style cooking which makes it easy to prepare different foods at the same time.

The 1700 Series comes with a 5 year warranty.

LPG is standard. Natural gas conversion kits are available for all models.

For the porcelain cast iron - Start by preheating the grill to loosen food residues. Use a grill brush or scraper to remove any charred debris from the grates. For porcelain-coated cast iron, avoid metal brushes that could damage the surface. Instead, opt for a soft brush or non-abrasive pad. Once cooled gently clean with a warm soapy solution and through dry after with a paper towel.

* Note - Many food acids, marinades, juices, and sauces contain highly acidic components that can gradually damage the enamel surface if not promptly cleaned after cooking.

For the stainless steel surfaces, a stainless steel cleaner or a mixture of warm water and mild detergent can be used. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth to prevent rust or water spots. Regular cleaning after each use will help maintain the grill’s performance and appearance.
