  • For the lamb burgers

    • Lamb mince
    • Mint seasoning
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Six burger buns

    For burger sauce

    • Three tbsp mustard (of your choice)
    • Three tbsp mayonaise
    • Salt
    • Pepper

    For burger filling

    • Pickled red onion
    • Halloumi - sliced
    • Mustard sauce
    1. Prepare the mustard mayo by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and mixing thoroughly until smooth.
    2. Slice the burger buns in half and spread half of the mustard mayo on the cut sides and set aside.
    3. In a bowl, mix the minced meat with your chosen seasonings. Divide the mixture into equal-sized balls. 
    4. Preheat your BeefEater® BBQ to a medium heat. Place the mince balls on the plate side, cook for about a minute, then smash them down until thin. 
    5. Season the patties with additional spices and top each with a handful of drained onions, pressing them into the meat. 
    6. After a couple of minutes, flip the patties, add more seasoning and cook until cooked through. 
    7. Meanwhile, add the sliced halloumi to the plate and grill until golden and crispy. 
    8. Lightly toast the mustard mayo-coated buns on the grill.

     

    Once everything is cooked, assemble your succulent lamb smash burgers with the grilled halloumi and enjoy!
